[Updated 4/29/2010]
Hi guys. Over at MacThemes, I promised (a few times) to update this and fix the few bugs that had been pointed out. Unfortunately, I got distracted and was busy, and never came through.

With the release of Simple Playlet, a hybrid of Playlet and Simple Euro ([link]), I was motivated to update Playlet so that the developers of these fine hybrids wouldn't be tethered down to my own laziness, so here it is.

==Changes==
- Fixed album art stuttering between tracks
- Added an album art fade
- More track information

Playlet 1.1 (Includes Playlet and Playlet Basic)

May First update:
Now includes flipped version

I'm having a weird problem with these.

I've installed them, but can't see them. All three of them.

Any ideas?

I tried using the BTDisableArtworkSquaring key mentioned here [link] on the bowtie theme development site, and setting the value to "True" so that rectangular album art is set to fill the whole box of the bowlet. This has worked flawlessly in other bowtie themes, but for some reason when i use it on this theme it just moves the album art up and starts to repeat the album art underneath it.

Do you know of any way i can force all album art to fill the square?

I don't know for sure, seeing as I haven't looked at the code I used to write this in a really long time, but I'm assuming that I set the division that draws the album art to tile instead of stretch. With a little CSS, you may be able to fix it. If I'm wrong, let me know and I'll happily take a look.

Yea, I've been trying to fiddle around with the CSS file, logic.js file and index.html file, but i can't seem to figure out how to fix it. If you could take a look at it and get the album art to fill the square, that would be awesome.

I made myself a modded version of this Bowtie theme with an increased amount of space for the song info as well as some other tweaks. So would you be able to make the adjustments to my modded file? [link]

any chance to get the first version without the album?

Before I do any modding, I'd like to clarify. You're referring to the album text, not the album art, correct?

right, just the interpret and the title, just like this: [link]

Nice. What is the font next to the artwork(s)?

I do believe I used Lucida Grande. If you changed your system font, it'll look different. If so, just go into the CSS file and replace it with Lucida Sans; they look pretty similar at that size.
